Chromatography 10,186
as a woman myself, it does worry me slightly since she is a little on the older side to have a child. definitely increases risk of complications, but i’m so happy that she can finally have what she wanted throughout her entire conservator ship. it was stolen from her, it only makes sense that she reclaims what she wanted and what is rightfully hers — to be a new mother again

There are risks, but it doesn’t mean she can’t have a healthy and happy pregnancy. If these risks were so bad, my fertility clinic would cease to exist. She has access to amazing health care. And having a child with Down syndrome isn’t a horrible thing either. they weren’t saying have a kid with down syndrome is a horrible thing, but obviously you should do everything you can to prevent it from happening, which with increased age does increase the risk. Ziggy 12,559
Hopefully her mental health stays great through this pregnancy and after knowing the complications she’s had with it in the past. All things look amazing so far, though. Good for her

So a woman over 35 shouldn’t have a baby because there is an increased risk of Down syndrome? I have 12 frozen embryos that I’m not genetically testing. Should I test them just to see if they have Down’s syndrome so they can be discarded? What other ways would an older woman prevent it from happening? We also don’t know what Britney may or may not have done for the health of her baby. she/her/hers
RAMROD 112,184
Not sure why some of you talking the way you do. Britney is not some regular locals, besties. Y'all should't worry about her pregnancy cos she will certainly have the best treatment and consultations with top doctors using her millions (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ Gengar, I choose you! Perish Song! Just the medical world calls you geriatric if you're over 35. She really isn't at much higher risk for things than other women, just slightly higher, but it isn't much since she's overall healthy. My mom had me when she was 40…and let me tell ya giving my experience that’s not something to brag about… Hottie Detector

FrederickSpears 2,118
I'm so happy! She deserves to be able to raise her kid and do how she pleases. So glad things are looking up and she's free and can now live her life how she wants. Her career will continue to take a backseat, but I actually think having a baby will make her inspired to do another album in time as well. She may never tour again, but I think she will come back to music in time.
