I'm just saying I don't think what Russia is doing now is comparable on the same level

It’s not their business or in their sphere of influence so they just abstain on voting to not offend either side Banned 04/19/2020 - 04/19/2020

I will obviously exclude COVID emergency measures as that was an impossible to have predict extenuating circumstance But even in the years leading up to it his party kept changing their mind about how much red inc to run and he'd always go deeper and deeper gradually each year than planned the year before Excluding COVID it was never massive deficits but changing his plans multiple times to run bigger deficits than plegued during non emergencies or recessions already created a trust issue for me as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't have credibility with me on that front anymore and I'm not sure I can believe the new plans he's making now after so many walkbacks Also even if he and his finances minister Chrystia Freeland sticks to their plans this time I still believe it's not prudent enough. While I think a few of their plans like dental coverage, cheaper childcare and prescription coverage are good investments... I wish they found other areas to save on to offset it, raised taxes a little more if necessary (within reason) etc rather than paying for it with higher deficit spending and making the assumption economic growth will be strong enough to increase revenue over time and the deficit lower on its own. That's a plan that to me is a big gamble. Ur going under the assumption the economy will continue to do great for years to come without interuption and if history has taught us anything it's that Everytime Governments rely on economic growth over several years to improve finances things almost neve go according to plan. Trudeaus plans literally rely on the assumption of a best case scenario and to me that's totally wreckless
