Peope are obsessed with latest models even when their old ones are still working fine for their daily use and those latest models are hardly an improvement from the last ones.

I also have a 7. It works fine. I went from a 5s to it. I want to buy the new one but like i said in my last comment we have to pay a tax to the govt for the newest iphone n its about $500-550 depending on the storage. 
iphones are already expensive n this tax thing changed my perspectice. Now i plan on using 7 as long as it works

Mine is so shitty rn. I’ve accessed the battery life and it’s down to like 70%.

lasts throughout most of the day but i dont do much on it but text and light web browsing and dont really play games or watch long videos on it

anything intensive i do on my laptop or tablet

I've had a Google Pixel 3 since like Dec of 2018 and it's the best smartphone I've ever had. Amazing camera and tons of personalization. Always getting updates with cool new features. Best camera ever

Everyone -- the Twitter app won't stop working on old iOS versions. You only won't be able to get the *latest version* of the Twitter app moving forward. BIG difference.

For those complaining, getting 6-7 years out of a phone is absolutely amazing and unheard of before Apple. Can you remember the last cell phone you got that still worked as well after that many years if your flip phone hadn't been torn in half after 2?

The only reason you're mad is because Apple products are built so well that they still feel new after so many years -- something I can't say about any other piece of technology I've ever owned. So when it still feels new but no longer can keep up - you feel it should versus a Samsung phone that can't hold a charge for more than an hour and whose plastic shell is cracked - you accept thats its beyond its life and move on without being annoyed.
