Additional note: I think it was all for PR. They wanted attention (as is routine for their family) and whether or not the Oscars were truly involved or not we may never know. But I do think Will fully knew what he was doing and the media surge it would create. Now they get to talk about it more and be “healing forces” on the topic, generating publicity and, consequently, cash. But who am I to say :stalkga:

I think you guys need to stop with this Illuminati "everything is fake" way of thinking. It was very obviously not scripted, and it not only tainted the rest of the ceremony but Will's reputation as well. Winning an Oscar would've been enough publicity, don't you think? Now, he risks getting his Oscar revoked, a ban from future ceremonies, not to mention this will follow him for the rest of his career. I know there's nothing like bad publicity, but this sure looks a hell of a lot like it. I can't see anything good coming out of this for him.

I thought the joke about her alopecia was pretty tasteless, but I think she deserves some criticism for cheating on Will.

Proof?

That family is the personification of insecurity -- Jada, insecure with herself and her life, cheating on her husband. Will, insecure with himself and his marriage, thinking he needs to slap a comedian to "protect" his wife.

They should use some of their millions for therapy.

Jada's sex life has absolutely zero relevance lmao wth

Will and Jada are well known for having consensually opened their marriage. If you google you can find some info on it

That joke wasn't scripted and was tasteless enough to warrant an apology, had Will not done what he did.

I don’t see any problem with the joke. Tasteless? Maybe, but humour and comedy is a lot of the times tasteless. Warranting an apology? Definitely not. That will just reinforce the position that comedians must censor themselves, which I am completely opposed to.

Insecure people cheat, she's insecure and can't take a joke.

Y’all are ok with black women being disrespected and it shows. And Chris Rock has a history of it.

Yeah that’s why Chris Rock made the Good Hair documentary, right?

He’s a comedian who made a joke that rubbed some the wrong way. Simple as that. In other news ; water is wet.

I’d really hate to think Jada, the one whom slept with her son’s prematurely aged best friend, and who constantly humiliates Will and her entire family is really that emotionally offended by what Chris said. I’d imagine her skin would be concrete thick actually. Cold as stone.

He must have forgot he made that documentary when he decided a woman’s hair loss is worth mocking. Stop defending Chris Rock and blaming Jada. It’s disgusting.

There's a fine line between comedy and bullying, but to each their own.

People are delusional for thinking all of this wasn’t preplanned to boost Will, Jada, and Chris’ careers and boost the Oscar’s viewership for next year.
