Twitter defends Kirsten Dunst; Amy Schumer apologizes

REALITY

I’ll be honest, I don’t understand why people have such vitriolic hate for Amy Schumer. Like, I’m not a fan of hers, but I also don’t care enough to hate her with such a passion. If you don’t like her, then ok, let her be.

The whole thing was a stunt. I looove Kirsten Dunst, but this outrage is ridiculous. Was it a tasteless joke? Yeah, but she was in on it, so it shouldn’t matter. You could at least make the argument that Chris Rock’s joke was ad libbed and Jada didn’t appreciate it, but that isn’t the case here.

#1. Kristen was IN ON IT.

#2. The whole POINT of joking that she was a “seat filler” is BECAUSE the academy has ignored her previous work. Jokes are meant to expose truths, and that’s what Amy was doing…

If Kristen didn’t think it was funny then her husband should have punched her, right?

If I were a comedian, I would just quit. People reach as hard as they can to be offended these days.

Same! Between internet and the stars themselves having no sense of humor...

I would just tell them to do it themselves before they complain about it becoming a bore lol.

Ricky is an incredible comedian. He knows exactly how to do a roast because even though it can be “nasty” it’s almost always showing how toxic Celebrity culture is, including the egotistical actors who are a part of it.
