It feels like she is going to be overexposed at the Oscars if she does this... i'd say skip a few ceremonies, short hiatus, then do the hosting. It might feel weird at first to have someone who is not trying to do bits or crack jokes, but instead being there to celebrate film, the actors/crafts people, and their legacies. I think it would be interesting, and probably change the whole vibe, and might actually feel like a classy event worth wearing gowns and tuxes to. You got this” I’d envision Gaga honing in on the excellence film, and the incredible creatives that are honoured in it, not just the stars. No think tank on how to have a viral moment, just a night to celebrate the best in film. She’s proven to be very respectful on stage, incredibly humble, and more than willing to give the stage away- giving a platform to sexual assault survivors, whisking away after tributing Julie Andrew’s, standing side-by-side with Bradley Cooper for a masterful performance, allowing Liza Minnelli the dignity and best picture presentation she deserves. I’d see her take it very seriously and study past hosts and what made them great and what didn’t work. I know she would watch every single nominated film of the year she’d Host , and inquire about every nominee. Plenty of past hosts are Oscar winners, this would be great for not only filmga, but theatrega, she could showcase her skills theatrically like Hugh Jackman when he hosted, broadway style!
