Nicki Minaj on Will/Chris Drama

Nobody is entitled to ever tell someone how they should feel. If Jada feels comforted knowing that’s what Will did for her then that’s on her. It might not have been the right setting or even right approach, but no one can reasonably sit here and tell Will and Jada how to feel because the same people trashing him right now and not condemning Chris would be the same ones trashing Will for not speaking up if he sat there and kept laughing.

And if people want to take it a step further, no one can sit here and claim Will slapping him was inappropriate and think that a joke about her health was in good taste. Doesn’t matter if the disease is life threatening or not.

Great but just because your loved one was insulted it doesn't mean you must slap someone on global television, he should have encouraged her to stand up for herself and deal with that situation like we live in a society of civilized people.

Why do you even comment when you don't understand what she is saying? It's not always as easy to just holding it together. Things happen when you least want them to, have some perspective.

That first tweet is spot on. How did the joke get approved?

That's the thing, I'm not sure the joke was planned. He basically saw who was in front of him in that moment and improvised, I guess? That's the only way I believe this could have happened.

I kind of agree. I think his joke with Javier and Penelope was hysterical and probably got through it too quickly so he improvised a terrible joke about an obscure movie that anyone under 20 has no idea what he is talking about.

Not y’all condoning violence on a joke in poor taste when you’d start sprinting and screaming, “bloody murder” before Will Smith would even get the chance to smack you.

It was a bad joke. But there’s no excuse for the reaction. Especially if you have a platform.

I'll say why because Jada was apart of that big protest against the Oscars in 2016. She was practically the person who started it.

Not me agreeing with Onika Miraj :sharon:

This incident has truly changed the world :omg:

And who wrote this for ha?

I don't understand why lots of people saying physical attack is not okay while thinking verbally attack is okay, again, "just a joke" "it's oscar" "it's comedian"

why are we not blaming the one who started all these first, and instead we blame the ones reacting? We can never predict how ones can react even it may seems nothing to us.

So you're equating a hard slap in the face in front of the whole world with a bad joke? Check your concepts.
