Great performance. I just can't can't get into the song. There's no melody. But it's always great to see what cool stuff she comes  up with.

„It feels so great to be alive to have my family by my side“ like really? The Putin vs Ukraine war really isnt much a thing in the states, right? I just always feel a little triggered seeing on one hand all the refugees coming to our city and then on the other hand business as usual with things like this performance. I know, there is always war in the world, but still…

The song is from a movie that came out prior to the Ukrainian crisis. What does one have to do with the other? Life actually goes on despite daily atrocities. The song was written to embody the theme and content of the film, not necessarily to make some all encompassing statement about or for the world as a whole. 

And no, what’s happening in Ukraine is very much a “thing” here. The US Has been acting as the voice of NATO lately and will soon welcome 100,000 refugees.

And this was the historical performance than man said? It seems to me another 1000 people on stage with Beyoncé performance. A cute one, but still...

LOL.

This was all too extra for a song that barely had any impact. Beyonce being an outstanding performer is an undisputed fact. With that being said, I cringed hard. A million backdrop dancers, Beyonce in the middle, wind blowing her hair ethereally, the Illuminati triangle, posing, faux deep intro - it's getting redundant. And for a song about being alive, she came across lifeless.

There are such instances where perfectionism does art a disservice, and the controlled and edited setting for her 'live performance' is an example of such instances. This was more about being flashy than giving a heartfelt performance, and overall came across as tacky.

I don't know what else she's trying to prove and why she can't let loose a bit, no one is arguing down her status as an entertainer.
