Aren't those the same old rats that called Gaga fat after her Superbowl performance? :madge:

No, but they called Adele fat and Selena ugly

Oh yeah I forgot this one!

Yes she is ..

When you think Gaga took crap over the imagine performance at the European games just for the place, jlo went away with multiple shady gigs done directly for the shady dudes.

It honestly doesn’t surprise me considering the fact that Jen’s career was started with songs where she wasn’t even singing the chorus and the whole shady stolen “Firecracker” sample in “I’m Real”

Yeah labels taking hit-sounding tracks planned for better-singing black women to give it to jlo... So sad. :/

She's probably the popstar with the most private gigs done for shady politicians/ businessmen around the world for example...

this was literally something she discussed in 'Marry Me' :air:

This is so f_cking stupid. Like if labels loved gift Latin women careers in pop music. There is probably three Latina women who have had successful careers in pop music ever. Shakira, Gloria Estefan and Jennifer Lopez, that's about it. I can name twenty to thirty black female artists just as big and popular as those three.

This comment is a xenophobic argument disguised as "racism" against black women.

Murder Inc. Records loved Jennifer Lopez. Ashanti and Jennifer are friends she was at her birthday.

This is the same tired argument from tired Mariah Carey fans.

Well not really, her character was a pop star and she discussed doing private gigs for like 10 super rich people :ladyhaha:

Nope but you're answer is so f_cking stupid over something you didn't understand. I'm not saying labels favorize latin women all the time, you discussing latin women overall in music as an answer to my comment makes no sense here. I'm saying jlo was favored against more vocally talented black women by her labels. The whole industry and jlo bosses are 2 different things.

What you call "love" is giving the priority to jlo over black female singers when you keep their voices on the track cause you apparently consider jlo can't replicate that, sometimes even doing so for large parts of a chorus. And it's not even pretty privilege or some shady industry thing like it cause they were all beautiful.

So it's weird FOR THESE PRODUCERS INVOLVED to always keep these beautiful black ladies only being the voices of hits but hits that are given to jlo who they themselves think can't sing it as well.

I'm not a Carey fan no... And xenophobia disguised as racism against black women? You meant disguised as anti-racism against black women I guess but keep your trials of intents please cause these are tired and cheap. It's not xenophobic just cause it's about jlo and what I said was about the producers actions anyway, it's not jlo's decisions and she may very well have not been told about it.

Girl what? You were just accusing Jennifer Lopez herself as stealing songs from black women and now you say she had "no knowledge" of it. That it was the producers. Then why bring it up?

This site is the worst.

No, read it again. I talked about "labels taking the songs" saying they did so "to give it to jlo". It's about their actions, not about her.

I didn't bring it up actually, read it again, it was an answer to someone mentioning it with me, as I said higher, blaming the labels in my answer.

When some people quickly go pissed off over what they think they understood it can be the worst indeed.
