Ghandi's speech, the first audio every recorded, JFK's "we choose to go to the moon" speech, and the first words ever said on the moon to close out the entire album. I think it's a great closer for that reason. The whole album shows MJ's insecurities, his paranoia, his anger, and the garbage being flung around the world in human society and an over arching theme you're left with at the very end of hearing this album from beginning to end is "we're capable of such great feats of engineering, ingenuity, cooperation, and beauty so why do we spend so much time hating and hurting one another and the world around us? What's the point?" Dangerous might be my favorite and Thriller might be the best selling album of all time but I truly believe HIStory is his greatest work. I will say that I totally respect the intention of the song and will bop to it if it’s on!
