Aren’t you the one crying because a pop star didn’t meet some stalkers outside a hotel

I wish artists would stop thinking Twitter stans represent the entirety of their fanbases. Social media is really the worst... It could've been a revolutionary means of interaction between artists and fans, but instead, just like with everything good, people chose to ruin it.

The sad part is I would agree with this if these were just unknown Twitter stans with fake photos taking over the situation and making it worse. But it wasn’t just that. I saw the legit profiles of people who were waiting outside (they posted countless videos and photos of it) and when I went to their profiles, they had retweeted and said truly disgusting things. Ironically enough some of them had pro-Putin and hella transphobic sh*t on their profiles as well.

I understand it not being everyone and shouldn’t represent the entirety of her fanbase there. But if I were in a group of people and saw racist rhetoric  coming from my side, I would just quit it and realize it had gone too far. Instead I see doubling down and weird justifications for it like “Americans should stay out of this” Well that chance ended when the AMERICAN artist has such horrible comments being hurled at her.

I really used to love this community, but this is just showing me how some of you really aren’t the forward thinking people I thought you were. You’re jumping through hoops to justify the racist stuff (almost every sentences has the word BUT in it…) and this isn’t a translation issue. I think comparing her to an ape translates easily to English.

I haven't followed closely what happened to her in South America, but from what I could grasp, it seems she bumped into the wrong sort of people... Seems crazy to be racist + homophobic AND be a Doja stan :awkney: Still, this group of fan isn't representative of her entire fanbase, so I hope she finds the strength to overcome this overwhelming negativity.

I think we as human beings tend to focus and give too much importance to the negative, and I've seen that with artists who directly answer their critics but barely acknowledge the messages of love they receive. It's especially fundamental when you're a public figure to prevent the negativity from getting to you, otherwise you'll just want to quit or die. It's not for the faint of heart. Hopefully she focuses on the love her real fans are no doubt showering her with right now.

I am so on Doja's side, but this tweet has me dead.:ladyhaha:

:sharon::sharon::sharon:

Translation:

"And you guys what? Are you talking about me too. Go ahead and talk, I could care less. Ball of poor subterranean trains (but maybe worms?) I want distance from you poor people because poverty can be contagious. Goodbye you pieces of sh_t. Goodbye. Enough! Go to hell. Hope you all blow up."

I always live for the female villains in Latin soap operas. :ally:

Not Carminha making an appearance on this mess:billie: such a queen.

Quizás bastaba respirar, sólo respirar, muy lento...💙

Did you see the tweets about her being mad that "nobody" was outside her hotel the day after she checked there? LoL

She obviously seemed to care and wanting to meet people but at the end why lie that nobody was there when there's lot of fans videos showing totally the opposite? Just to prove her point and "talk your sh*t"? :smh:

I can't see any trace of her being mad here. People love to be in parallel realities :ladyhaha:

Exactly! I mean, everyone is different and I give her that, Miley is such an angel and so were newbies like Machine Gun Kelly and LP... but Doja, she always seemed to be so down to earth, a little bit of an internet troll herself, extrovert, etc. to do all of this. If she at least said sorry (which you can see she says she does not) things would have been a lot different in regards to angry fans. She fueled the anger in them by replying like that.

She doesnt deserve The racist reactions and death threads and insults dont justify this kind of horrible behavior

There are comments threatening to lynch her if she ever comes back, calling her lazy because she’s a black woman and then comparing her to Hitler. There is no defending this, so yes I am 100% blaming them for nasty behavior. Look how quick some of her “fans” were to resort to such vile comments.

That's crazy are they actually fans? Or just trolls getting in on the drama?
