I don't have a favorite album from her ( her albums are to overrated) 4. However, she hides her lack of personality behind her flashy presentation - and it works. She has more hype than she does impact. No 'iconic' singles, maybe Formation I guess? But compared to I Will Always Love You, Thriller, AIWFCIU, Bad Romance, Purple Rain...I don't personally know if it compares. Too focused on being an icon than organically being an entertainer. There is a sense of falsehood that comes with her. Overall I think she (along with Gaga and Rih) are the last 'legends' in the music industry and the last ones standing from their eras. She's not the artist of the millenium. "Queen B". No, she's a fairly talented singer and performer who has had some great albums and visuals. I'm not knocking down any of her achievements, just.. chill. Some people act like she's literal royalty. Some people take it as a personal attack if you don't care for her that much, Jesus. I love Gaga far more than I do Beyonce, and I don't go to the lengths some Beys do to defend her. Like get over it, they're all just pop artists. Gaga, Taylor, Beyonce, Katy, etc. There's nothing that puts her in another universe as this godlike, otherworldly being who is exempt from criticism. Yes, she sings good but there are more artists who sing very good (maybe better?). 2: I do not really have a favorite album but I think her best album is B'Day. I do have a favorite song and that's Single Ladies (Put a ring on it). I also think this is one of her best songs together with Halo. 3: Crazy in Love is, in my opinion, boring. 4: I am not really a fan of the Beyonce from last years. NCgaga 4,324 Posted March 21, 2022 Share Posted March 21, 2022 Her team has done a great job getting the GP to believe she is the female Michael Jackson- but she lacks strong singles to even really compare to Madonna, Michaels, Prince, etc. while her voice is technically very good, I find her tone to be nothing special. To avoid this being a bash session, I will say she is one of the most talented performers to come out in the past 40 years. Her dancing, her shows, her imagery and visuals(which I think was stepped up once Gaga came on the scene) is all top notch. She always gives 100 percent, and it’s rare to see her slipping. She's "in charge" of nothing, just goes with the flow. That's why there are very few interviews. She has nothing to say because she's not involved.
