Normani, Doja and Tinashe are the triple threat of exquisite dancers!

I wish she had continued on this track. I was living for Motivation when it came out. Light and fun pop/R&B that didn't take itself too seriously.

I don't know what to believe about her and an album considering the rumors about her label. People claimed that her label was sabotaging her because she was not being as successful as her team had hoped.

I know it’s outside of her control, but releasing  a song once a year is going to be hard to keep the public interested. She has one hit wonder written all over her. I like the new song though.

in 2018 Normani became the first artist signed to Keep Cool Record under RCA Records.
last year Keep Cool founder, who was also RCA Records's executive vice president of A&R, became CEO of Def Jam. I'm not sure if Keep Cool still exist, they didn't post anything on social media from months.
'Fair' is released only under RCA Records, not under Keep Cool/RCA Records like her older releases.
so I guess Normani had some problems with label in the past few months and we probably will see in the next few months if it was Keep Cool who sabotaged her.

Watching the Zane Lowe interview and I find her to be very endearing. She has a massive case of perfectionism as a defense mechanism which I completely relate to. I'm excited to hear her album I just hope she learned that she can't wait so damn long to release ****. :partysick:

I feel like she had so much traction around the Love Lies + Motivation period. By the time she came back with Wild Side and now this a lot of the anticipation has fizzled away. She needs to re work the strategy to encourage a large anticipation again. Idk how...she needs a big instant hit sounding track but everything she's been releasing is more moody.

If she is ok with staying small scale that's totally fine but she has so much potential to be a main popgirl

Is sleepy R&B-pop still a thing? I thought Ari's last album underperforming while Dua smashed with dance/disco-pop was a sign that we were finally going to get good pop music again.
