Even tho some of this was childish, I’m 100% team Pete. Kanye is a grown ass man that refused to take control of his mental health and decided to weaponize it against his ex and her new boo. So yeah, **** Kanye.

the way there’s zero reason for any of us to have this much knowledge on the kanye/kim/pete drama :awkney: feels like this should be personal…

THEY are making it public

Pete was obviously the adult in that conversation.

Those of you clutching your pearls over "I'm in bed with your wife"

that was a totally appropriate thing to say.

Consider what Kanye has done in public - videos about killing Pete.  Refusal to accept Kim's DECISIONS in life.

It's time he was TOLD - your marriage is over and you better get used to it because I'm done playing.

Pete is a total adult in that conversation and clearly is the one who wants a private resolution.

because people with this much mental instability (kanye) don’t need a “clap back”, they need to be institutionalized before the videos become more than videos. but i suppose i shouldn’t expect more from a pop forum that is obsessed with dragging and clapping back without thinking of it potentially backfiring in serious ways when someone is so clearly mentally unwell. but pop off

Lmao why should any of us care about Kanye, aka a psychopath who has literally every resource in the world available to him and yet is still doing... whatever he is doing? :laughga:

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

It' Sunday morning. We all lost an hour of sleep cause of Day light savings and sometimes you have to be petty to get back at a guy antagonizing you for months. Everyone has a breaking point. It isnt Pete's job to counsel Kanye but I dont blame the guy for what he said. He is trying in his own twisted way and he isnt a saint to just let Kanye antagonize him, his gf, and the kids.

The kids will grow up and everyone will know their dad have mental issues and have been stalking/shaming their mom in public and when they are teens, they will avoid him. Kanye is digging his own grave.

because he can hurt other people other than himself. is it that hard to understand?

Absolutely.  Our mental health is our own responsibility and refusing help is a choice we make.

It's hard to make good choices when we're sick, but Kanye has the potential to take control of himself.

I've said this before, but refusing to listen to Kim when she tried to help him is the primary reason for their divorce.  When you take a life partner in life, it means that you LISTEN to them and TRUST them.  If he refused to trust what she was telling him, refused to accept she might be right - then there is no marriage, no partnership because you can't compromise on something like that.  I'm not really explaining it well, but basically what's the point of having a life partner if you don't want their help?

Because humans struggling deserve basic compassion. Even when the situation is ugly and harmful.

Because we hated how Hollywood was treating Gaga when she was struggling with her mental health on Twitter.

Because a lot of us reflected and saw that in hindsight, Britney deserved basic compassion instead of ridicule when she was struggling. Even when she drove with her baby in her lap.

Every mental health struggle is individual and different but that doesn't mean some should be treated like humans while others get to be the main attraction at the freak show.

This is so stupid. How are you going antagonize someone and then offer them help?

I'm really disappointed with Pete's behavior.

The, "in bed with your wife," line was super disgusting and mysoginistic as f_ck.

If I had a new boyfriend tell an ex of mine, "I'm in bed with "your" boyfriend." I would break up. I don't belong to anyone and why are you causing trouble.

It's like watching two high school teenagers text each other.

He's right but some things irk me about the way he talks. "in bed with your wife", "stop being a p*ssy", "man up"... :awkney:

If Pete had said, "let's talk man to man" or "If you continue harassing us, I'll press charges." I would have been completely ok with this. I was kind of on Pete's side for not saying anything before.

But we just witnessed a cis-man pissing contest. Like, WTF is wrong with all these toxic people.

how mature would you be if someone put out a video depicting your murder?

how mature would you be if someone was making things unsafe and scary for your girlfriend and her children.

Pete listed how much he's done to not fight back - and it's a lot.

For him to clap back - to me - is perfectly in bounds because this is how things are and Kanye better get used to it.  I would just say he put him on notice he's not playing anymore.

If it was a pissing contest, Pete would have been doing it all publicly, using his platforms to do this.  But he's actually been very restrained and I think he had every right to show Kanye he can be a d*ck too.

I don't know people think Pete has to be the only mature adult in the situation.  This kind of of situation is infuriating and acting angry in a private text conversation doesn't offend me or make me think less of Pete.
