What this means is that any upload of a song will be credited at the bottom of the description, but this also allows for the video upload to be copyright claimed and removed. Songs that have been affected: - Glitter and Grease (ID’ed) - The Greatest Thing (Demo) (with Cher) (ID’ed) - Heiress (ID’ed and removed) - Out of Control (ID’ed) - Private Audition (ID’ed and removed) - Quicksand (ID’ed and removed) - Text You Pictures (ID’ed and removed) This list is probably incomplete, but it's what I have found. As you can see, there is a heavy emphasis on songs from late 2008-2010 (and yes I checked more recent leaks such as We Could Be and PARTYNAUSEOUS and they are unaffected). There has been some discussion in the unreleased/trading community about what this could mean. The theory is that it could just be Interscope/UMG taking the recent leaks into their own hands since it has been out of control for too long I've been debating making this thread because I feel like for most of you, this is hardly news, and probably not interesting. However, I think it's worth noting that something is happening behind the scenes, and the fact that they are striking these videos means that they care about these songs enough to take action. There's been discussion about how Gaga's demos are actually still being shopped around, just like how Nothing On was sold. It was pitched to a few artists before Addison eventually bought it. I forget which track it was, but I remember seeing the ID beneath the video and being shook.
