Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed 2nd child, Exa Dark Sideræl

Her full name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (or, "Y" for short)
Grimes was fighting for Odysseus Musk.
Exa Dark Sideræl was actually something of a compromise, and Grimes worries it’s a little boring.

Exa is a reference to the supercomputing term exaFLOPS (the ability to perform 1 quintillion floating-point operations per second). Dark, meanwhile, is “the unknown. People fear it but truly it’s the absence of photons. Dark matter is the beautiful mystery of our universe.” Sideræl “a more elven” spelling of sidereal, “the true time of the universe, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time.” It’s also a nod to her favorite Lord of the Rings character, the powerful Galadriel, who “chooses to abdicate the ring.”

In addition to Y, Grimes and Elon occasionally call her Sailor Mars. source

  • Teletubby changed the title to Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed 2nd child, Exa Dark Sideræl

Do you think this new celeb trend of 'ordering' babies via surrogate will damage the future parent-child bond? It seems so fake and even a little selfish, because it's not like those people couldn't have children on their own, they just choose to do it that way. I hope my question doesn't offend anyone. I'm just curious about the psychological process beyond these rich people's behavior.

I think I read somewhere that Grimes hated her first pregnancy

But I think as long as the child is given love, happiness, and care by the family they go to, it shouldn’t be any more or less pure of a bond than a child born biologically to a parent

No. The child doesn't remember the conception or process of being in utero pre-birth. That would simply be traumatic and the species would've stopped reproducing long ago.

Lowkey I felt like they were expecting another kid when Grimes mentioned something like “my eventual daughter”

Imagine breaking up while expecting a child though… also isn’t he seeing someone else now? Awkward

love that they’re keeping the absurd child name trend going

Hmm but your sub conscience does remember some things. I think one explanation of calming effects of white noise is that it reminds us of noises inside mother’s uterus, her heartbeat and breathing. There could be more such things.

Also, recent scientific research on microbiome and its connection to one’s health, disease risks, but also some psychological characteristics shows that these are passed from mother to child during labor, as a unique cocktail of bacteria… So who knows, we’re not just our genes
