Stephen 30,365 Posted May 24, 2022 Share Posted May 24, 2022 Gonna give my thoughts on all the queens so far Jaida - I love Jaida so much she is such a sweetheart. Her matrix runway was sickening! I do worry about her fading into the background though. I hope she can stand out in the ball challenge, since she made so many of her looks on season 12! Jinkx - Already proved why she is THE acting/comedy legend. Can't wait to see her in more acting and improv challenges this season. Lock for top 4 imo. Monet - She's not my favorite queen on the season but man she's an incredible lip syncer. I actually think her lip sync with Shea could have gone either way. Also her Mike Tyson was hilarious. Raja - THEE icon. The way she came back and cemented her legendary status without breaking a sweat. I'm so excited to see her make an outfit for the ball next week. Shea - A superstar. A clear frontrunner from the jump. Out of all her seasons (9, AS5, AS7) this time was her weakest snatch game so that was a little disappointing but regardless I'm confident she will make the top 4. Trinity - I've always loved her and rooted for her even in season 9. She's so talented and polished. She just GETS drag. Happy to see her getting the love she deserves this season. I honestly would be happy with her winning the season. Vivienne - I love this queen but I was a bit disappointed in her snatch game. I think she should have done an American character just so that Ru would understand it more. You have to consider your audience! Hope she comes out of her shell more too. Yvie - I'm enjoying this more relaxed and chill Yvie vs the confrontational one we saw on her season. Even though Yvie wasn't that great in Snatch Game she would have been safe if it was a regular season especially with the Boogyman. Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams. I think what you mean is if this all winners season was played by normal season rules, then maybe yes. But this is not a normal season, the talent here is beyond, so somebody who does okay looks awful next to Jinkx. If they competed in a normal season, the last one for example, they would win. And Deja Skye, last seasons winner of the challenge, would have probably been in the bottom 2 if she was on this season, and if the season was played by noral rules. You can't be serious Jaida, Yvie and Shea literally BOMBED the snatch game and in a normal season we would have hear crickets everytime they would have said something. Deja did a great job, she would have been safe/high here but saying bottom 2 is an exaggeration. In the second episode Trinity lost her wig during the lipsync but they didn't show it, do you really think that would have happened in a normal season too? Don't be naive. I'm ok with the fact that they're going to treat them well because there is no point to drag a queen who you literally crowned (I find it boring, but there's a logic in it), but let's not act like they're all doing great and that's why there is no critique because it's not true.
