As they should. The gag of Eurovision being more determined than NATO leaders :ladyhaha:

i'm sorry but do you guys realise that if NATO got involved that would *literally* be a nuclear war and we could all die.

A very quick response. Thing is, Russia's involvement has been controversial for years. It seems that every few years, they get booed terribly when their points come through because there's always something going on in their country that gets people riled up and this is the ultimate. If the contest even goes ahead if we can by some miracle achieve peace by May, I doubt Ukraine will take part too, out of choice. I imagine it would be the last thing on their minds and they may be afraid that their mere presence, especially if they win, would stoke the fire again. I was watching the winning Ukrainian entry from 2016, my eyes filling up. When this song was sung, it was talking about a time from decades ago, when invasions were commonplace and we thought we were living in a safe world now to sing about these things in retrospect. Little did we know these words would become all too real again in just a few short years for the very country this song was representing:

Scary how this song gave a history lesson and predicted the future at the same time. The urgency with the way she sang may have been great acting but it was too good and genuine to the point where it seemed like she was giving us a warning. Just chilling.
