They're probably feeling the hopelessness of the situation much sharper, not to mention feeling completely powerless to do anything... All that's left to do is tweet out 'we're all going to hell uwu sksksksks and I oop' I don't see the dark humor as disregard here, I think it's actually much worse than that - I think it's resignation It's a joke!
