Meanwhile my country is organising a pro-Putin rally in a couple of days. I can't wait to leave this shithole of a country, burn my passport and never look back.

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

BTW, Is Ukraine very cold this time of the year? I look at videos and it just seems cold, makes me feel even worse for those people

When the war started it was pretty warm, but now is more cold and there is snow (though not a lot).

I can only imagine what goes through peoples head and government in Moldova.

I know people from there and they understandably tense..

The government has the option to ask to join Romania as an emergency measure and subsequently be granted security. You may ask how do we know if US will allow this, but for this to be a problem, the first condition would be Moldova to ask for this to begin with. The situation is that Moldova already faces an existential crisis, and it will be in an even more dire situation if Russian occupies the land around their borders. They can resort to this, depending on how circumstances evolve, and see what NATO's reaction would be. This is something former president Traian Băsescu already proposed.

I believe they will plan on taking back the region of Transnistria first, as they fought for it before. Even if the region doesn’t seems to be controlled by anyone its still a huge part if Putin gets itmain-qimg-0c79fb1cc0e76239bd9c1a804fcb7f

Once they get Ukraine they will have no problems taking on Moldova, If im not misinformed, Russian troops are still in Transnistria, it might be too late for joining Nato sadly

Transnistria is Russian-controlled at this moment, there won't be an issue of 'taking it', but an issue of  incorporating this territory which they already took into the new administrative entities they plan to create. To be able to join NATO, Moldova should recognize Transnistria as an independent country, in other words, to formally give this land to the Russians that already control the region.

Serbia. Not surprised at all. We should have learned from all the wars that we have been a part of but apparently not :saladga: Luckily, I don't think the rally is going to attract many people, but still.

I think he is psycho enough to do it anyways. He wasn't expecting Ukraine to fight back so hard and the picture they are painting of him. I don't think there is coming back from that and that's not even mentioning the financial banking crisis he is causing. I think the EU will start looking for ways to no be so heavily dependent on Russia. Same with us. If it means govt contracts for electric cars then let it happen or if it mean more drilling. I hope not but if it means no dependency on Russia then so be it.

Maybe USPS will change its mind about not converting to an electric fleet

Russian oligarchs are starting to realize that their self preservation depends more on getting rid of Putin than conquering Ukraine. This war is completely senseless for all sides. Hopefully they’ll have him “removed” soon.

Why did you yaass react the post about children being detained by russian soldiers?

Ukranians provide hot food for russian soldier and let him call the parents to let them know hi is ok.

Translation.

The person being called was the soldiers mother and the Ukrainians were telling her that her son is safe and well and that she can call him back to that phone number.
