The major cities in the East (Kharkiv, Sumy, Cherniv) are all holding on after 4 days, but the Russian military are heading towards Nizhyn and Pryluky in Cherniv oblast. It also seems that they want to unite the southern and south-eastern fronts along the Black Sea. There is figthing happening west of the Dniper in Mykolaiv. So @FfFfFfFFwas right, he is more concerned with pushing his borders back to natural formations like mountains and seas.
