Western media reported that Putin was planning to invade Ukraine months ago, they’re making $$$ from views/clicks and will report on this for months to come. It's as bad a western media is portraying, Europe hasn't seen military buildups and movement like this since WW2. It's the end of prolonged peace and the resurgence of pure aggressive expansionism. Not to mention the fact that Putin has lists of people and groups in Ukraine (like LGBTQ+) that he wants to permanently silence or kill. Sanctions will hurt the Russian people, but he will still be wealthy and living in his mansions, so he will do what he wants and not care about consequences. I live outside the space time continuum.
