I don't think it's about backlash necessarily. Life goes on, yes. But Stef is a person who's deeply affected by issues and situations like the one playing out rn, and is most likely not in the state of mind to announce a tour now. To each their own, but even if dates would be announced at this time, I couldn't bring myself to be truly "happy" or excited because of the dark cloud that this conflict casts over the world. She will attend SAG awards in 2 days and will present the movie and doing press, and according to leaked dates the general sale is scheduled on March 3rd, so if she postpones this announcement to a later date, the entire sale schedule has to be postponed. Also I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the SAG awards don’t go on OR at the very least, some people drop out for solidarity. This, exactly. I think the tour will go on but I bet everything is pushed out a week now. Especially since it seems like both sides may possibly reach a negotiation based on current news. And celebrities like Adam Driver and many more are vacationing in Paris and other parts of Europe rn. The Weeknd will probably announce his dates tomorrow and I think Gaga should follow through, her announcing the dates in Paris, Germany etc. Won't make the situation any better or worse in Ukraine.
