enissa11 2,984
Besides metal, this is one of my favourite genres together with the electro-industrial, all tracks that you posted are mostly underground old school generic/dance club prepared EBM tho, when it comes to bands you can listen to, the old school who coined the term were the Belgian band Front 242, they're not my favourite, but this track is a classic, and it has a killer chorus: EBM from the 90's i really love Front line assembly, they're canadian, and their album "Tactical Neural Implant" is the best choice for anyone who wants to initiate in the genre because it is the most dancey and housey and yet incredibly good, here's one of my favorites songs: This one is my favourite by the band, it's slightly different and has some industrial metal and horror elements: But what i really listen the most is contemporary EBM and aggrotech, my favourite band is Hocico, they're Mexican, and they're a huge inspiration for me, They prefer to call themselves Dark Electro because they don't have only EBM elements but their sound expands from all industrial and electronic dance genres, these are my two favourite songs: Other of my favourite modern bands are the Germans Funker Vogt, this song specifically reminds me Bad Romance in how there's a silence, all muted instruments before the last chorus hits hard: Speaking of Bad Romance, Gaga already kinda delve into this genre with that song, the production is so EBM/aggrotech, they actually took the beat from a German underground hard trance track which is essentially aggrotech, even the chord progression, is mind boggling for me how gaga made a song like that a massive diamond certified pop hit, truly genius and it has to be at least top 3 best pop songs in history, for me is my nº1. I love Front 242 music, and Nitzer Ebb's tho, nothing would make me more happy than Gaga experimenting this styles in the future and change the direction of pop again

Miel 15,009
I wouldn't doubt that there was a phase during production that a good chunk of the album had this sound, updated and modernized. But we all know the process of this album was different, getting handed around and refined under BloodPop's executive production. Neither a good nor bad thing, I guess. It's definitely a sonically palatable album, which worked in its favor. I was really hoping for some Rammstein level sounds, though! 3 points in and ready for more
Zeth 927
I was so sad when the Free Woman demo didn’t make the cut. That’s the sound I really want Gaga to go with for the next album.

She apparently was really eager to work with him after listening to his previous work kinda sad they reworked most of his work on the songs in the end. working with boize noize and even the slight bits about the work with sophie sounds like they had a great time working together and jusr like bn said, they wrote track after track and enjoyed ir. i assume that she was not chainsmoking and crying on her poarch waiting to get begged to come in thw studio that day. i would likw to hear what they created when she really wanted to do. I was convinced Chromatica would be very dark and experimental, especially when she released the Paper Interview magazine and she talked about how electronic all the songs were, and how much they were influenced by House-music. Then whe nthe Free Woman demo leaked, I was sooooo excited to finally have a dark-electronic alternative(ish) album from her ! Was slightly disappointed because it all sounded a bit too commercial and airy imo, but still a nice album <3 Justice for Free Woman demo discord.gg/hausofdelulu The #1 Lady Gaga Discord for Delusional Little Monsters! I was stoked to hear Gaga was in the studio with Boys Noize because I just love his style, and then I was slightly disappointed that Chromatica was more "airy" and "poppy" and less authentic Euro House Thanks so much for this post. It really explained more what I was expecting and hope she goes this route in the future. My thoughts exactly. Still loved Chromatica.
