the beat sounds pretty interesting. the vocals sound super generic though, could of been anyone singing if I didn't see her face.

It's giving Dixie D'Amelio:

And btw I actually like this ^ song especially Rubi's verse. But it's generic overall and for Camila I expect more since she's seasoned artist.

Does anyone know if 'Familia' is still happening? I loved DGY but im not sure if it underperformed in their eyes or if the break up messed things up, but I've been waiting Camilla

yes, 'Familia' is still happening.
DGY underperformed (it peaked at 42 on Billboard), labels want their artist to have a big hit before they can release album (I think this is why other artists like Saweetie or Anitta also can't release their albums).
Camila posted new TikTok and it seems that she filmed a new music video ↓

I like it but I also love this underrated song

I was excited for her album after Don't Go Yet but damn it's been half a year. What's the hold up?

Her and Shawn were working on things and that took priority first. :ally:

I love Camila's music and this doesn't sound like her style to me at all. It reminds me of her pre-debut album singles that were generic club pop songs written by Sia. I have loved the direction she has taken her sound on the first two albums and was hoping DGY was indicative of the overall vibe of Familia. This sounds off to me
