Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg have been named the hosts of NBC’s upcoming singing competition “American Song Contest,” the U.S. adaptation of “Eurovision Song Contest.”

“American Song Contest” will feature live new music performances – representing all 50 states, five U.S. territories and our nation’s capital.

Could be interesting but the fact that Eurovision is so diverse having so many different countries and cultures is what makes it so special, I'm not sure if an all American contest would do the same. I think it's going to feel more like another America's got talent than Eurovision.

America has a diverse mix of cultures, similar to that of Europe... except it'll get super political, messy & unhinged. Im here for the CATASTROPHE.
