Togekiss 2,353 Posted February 13, 2022 Share Posted February 13, 2022 I saw a post on Reddit about how artists aren’t paid for their super bowl halftime performances (which arguably makes sense because the boost in sales afterward can be worthwhile). But the post was suggesting that backup dancers don’t get paid. I guess I assumed Gaga’s team would have paid them at their own expense. I remember Katy saying that they get a certain budget and if that’s not enough they have to pay themselves for the rest.
