It's a poor and corrupt country, and we have seen how information is treated worldwide. The people there are simply uneducated, but it's not entirely their fault. I am not belittling them... I am pointing out the irony that these nations are obsessed with morals and protecting themselves from the lgbt propaganda and homosexual sin, when in fact what will cost them their lives is insanity hate from equally homophobic heterosexual lunatics. Emvee 8,858
And yet we have so many Russia apologists claiming that Russia won’t invade. If Russia goes through with this, the foreign assets of their elites need to be immediately seized. Ruin every single goddamn Russian billionaire. Cause we all know this is all really just game being played by Russian oligarchs. Here’s a list for starters: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Russian_billionaires

Generally speaking, they don't get to have an opinion, at least not publicly. The people of Russia have to strain to see anything that their government doesn't want them to see. The government owns 60% of the nation's newspapers and are in direct control of most of the media. Now, it isn't a total media blackout like it is in North Korea, but I would say that there are significant portions of the Russian population who don't hear anything but the story the Russian government tells them and by that measure I would say many probably don't oppose because they simply aren't told all of the facts. If they look around for outside sources they may have a different opinion, but Putin's government has demonstrated that they're not afraid to dole out consequences for public defiance. andreas85 400
"US officials believe" - I don't think there are sentences in the whole world that are less meaningful as this. Who cares what they believe? Lying and spreading propaganda is their job. Americans fearmongering and spreading anti-Russian hysteria - it's almost like this has happened before. US government and weapon industries benefit from wars and that's the real reason why Americans once again want US to get involved in yet another war. US government doesn't care about democracy nor peace at all, it never did. In reality, what is happening between Ukraine and Russia has absolutely nothing to do with USA. There's a video someone shared in a thread here of a person asking Russians if they'll fight in a war to invade Ukraine. It seemed like the common answers were "no, that's stupid" or "only if I don't have a choice". Whimsical bitch
