i was hoping another type of metaphor in the video on top of the lyrics but it's alright, i guess she just went to the sacrifice cult thing in the name of the love she's begging.
listening again i really dislike the "yeahs" at the end and throughout all the song.
The choreo was really bland too.
I really like the shots of charli on the ground with sand floating around and with her hair, it must have been difficult to perform.

That's it? A cover song and a sleep inducing video

When your discography includes universally acclaimed bodies of work like Pop 2, Charli and how i'm feeling now - then yes, sometimes that's acceptable:)

Loveeee the video it's so cute, I feel like it's purposefully more subdued than the others?

I like the sacrifice/cult theme for this and with Rina esp because it feels very in line with the photo sets of selling your soul to the record industry Charli's been positing on IG and it reminds me of this tweet from the other day:

I really enjoy what Charli's been doing with this era and how it's all unfolding.

I think the video symbolizes Rina & Charli's eventual affect on pop music. I thought the inclusion of the electrical towers & that electricity that kept going up until I realized it's them sacrificing something/selling their souls to some cult for power over the electricity, over the radio waves perhaps?

idk it's not that deep but this video was just so fun to me & I'm happy to see Charli leaning into the satanic vibes:party:

I have nothing against sampling, but unfortunately this really feels more like a cover than a new song.

this makes more sense, i was trying to interpret the video through the lyrics, but yes, it's more likely that the song and the video aren't related at all and this was just her way of telling she's selling her soul to the pop machine for radio power and mainstream success

It's simple but pretty elegant IMO, and feels very contemporary. I like it, nothing too OTT but very well made. I think a lot of her videos fit this description.

I'm really enjoying how cohesive this era is visually. All the videos and most of the photoshoots have stuck so strictly to the same colour palette and overall kinda things.

She’s pretty much just singing over it and her message isn’t nearly as strong. I love both but this is just a reintroduction if it to a newer generation, far more than just sampling.

have you been living under a rock?

I am sorry, I guess everyone are required to be on Twitter and Gagadaily everyday. I should definitely devote my time to more important things like following Charli's Twitter and Instagram weekly news letter.

"copied" like it wasn't completely obvious she's paying full homage to the 2000s with this era.

I don't follow Charli but what is the point of copy pasting a song.
