Teletubby 150,091
Adele has commented on “personal” albums in modern music, saying “not many people” make them these days, during the BRIT Awards 2022. “I’m very proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out an album that was about something so personal to me, cos not many people do stuff like that anymore. My son has been so gracious – so gracious and kind and patient with me over the last couple of years and it’s for him.” source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

Cruelty 6,172
Well it's clearly an idiotic comment, but Adele being out of touch is nothing new. We'll forgive her, though, because we do love Adele

Glamourpuss 29,062
Personal albums have become my favourite and it's why I love Lana Del Rey's recent albums. But I find that most albums these days are becoming more personal and aren't about partying like they used to be.

She sat there and watched Little Simz, Dave, Wolf Alice, Sam Fender, Billie Eilish, Joy Crookes being celebrated, and then said not many people make personal albums. The comment is just objectively incorrect, but it's not a massive deal I guess.

2School4Cool 6,449
I always appreciate artists who make intensely personal albums, such as Adele, Gaga, P!nk, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, etc. I get the point that she’s making, and it’s refreshing to hear an album like 30 that clearly was therapeutic for her, it’s clear she is connected to the material and that makes it easier for the listener to connect as well. Guest
It's not good to keep criticizing other people. Art is for yourself, you focus on yourself, it's just like religion. You do you, and others do themselves

This awards is called MasterCard British Album of the Year for over a decade (Mastercard is a long-term sponsor). but this year they also had Artist Of The Year with YouTube Shorts, voting on tiktok, launched NFTs collection and virtual party on Roblox.
