This seems out of place, but then I remembered when she was asking Neil DeGrasse Tyson about space :rip:

Katy has straight up right-wingers in her family so it does not surprise me that she is able to empathize with people like them or that share a lot of the same thought processes. Doesn't mean she's that way or supports that kind of stuff necessarily but yeah

And so what? Joe Rogan is such a weird guy but at least he brings different people on his show, I hate those shows that just is so scared to be politically incorrect that they swallow every info people say online, mostly americans on Twitter. It's stupid. Bring different people, bring an anti-vaxx and a pro-vaccine and make them debate and let's listen to it. Bring someone who's for science and works for vaccines but wants to talk about the nuances of this pandemic problem, let them criticize it, let's hear what they think is going wrong and what they think is going right. It's very important we listen to each other and not censor things we don't wanna hear. So what if you like Joe Rogan? I see nothing wrong with it, you enjoy what you enjoy, if you find his show interesting, you listen to it. Tired of people trying to shame people for doing something outside of this bubble of "problematic/non problematic", and tbh im seeing more and more people being tired of it so this era could come to an end soon

May people learn to be more educated and understand that spreading misinformation ≠ freedom of speech.

In recent years 2016 and on we have learned that spreading of false information (political specially) can lead to dangerous and hurtful events in our society.

Please famous people, be mindful that your words translate into actions in the lives of those who look up to you and believe in you.

Do not support misinformation

Oh Katy :saladga:

The man used his huge platform to constantly spread covid misinformation during a pandemic. Personally I don't think he cares about spreading misinformation and is only sorry it blew up in his face, trying to play it off as "just talking" when you've got the biggest podcast in the world is pretty ignorant imo.
