The person asking isn’t a stupid guy either, Peter knows by him asking these questions he is doing is pushing Joe’s buttons. It’s not the message, it’s the messenger. Peter is a troll who is a picture of nepotism as his father is a long time Fox News host, his sister also works for the network. Peter consistently asks questions like this to Jen Psaki and she takes the bait just as Joe did today. Peter pushes the narrative that inflation was brought upon only by Joe in the last 12 months, so I would probably call Peter something more imaginative than just a SOB. This is why it's so absurd. In addition, that guy always asks the most henious questions and is just there to fuel the fire. Not helpful at all. And anyone else could guess the same answer because it's so logically obvious. Inflation = bad, anyone and everyone knows that. It's like calling someone in the middle of the night, and when they pick up asking "are you awake?". So in that regard it was a stupid question, since it is completely unnecessary and the time it took could have been taken for a more nuanced question.
