OMG it is officially "profitable" by the dumb metric of doubling a box office means the film is now profitable. So literally all the millions it will make from now on is a profit to the studio and director and actors (if they took a percentage deal). This is amazing and shows Gaga's box office pull. Ridley's films have been critically acclaimed but sadly not really profitable but this has been his first work in a while where it is proftable AND critically acclaimed too. We love to see it. This only opens up more doors for Gaga as now ppl cannot say she just had a fluke with ASIB. SHE IS A BOX OFFICE PULL and SHE IS THE MOMENT

In a non-pandemic setting this movie would have probably gotten near the the 250-300 million mark but otherwise this is incredible. I remember the box office geeks predicting it wouldnt get anywhere near 150 and here we are!

HOG has done fantastic but that Twitter account is wrong... Box Office Mojo is a reliable source of truth and they say WW gross is $124,635,767 (https://www.boxofficemojo.com/title/tt11214590/?ref_=bo_se_r_1).

Japan opening weekend hasn't posted yet, so we'll see a bump from that.
