If she didn't continually make homophobic, transphobic remarks and talk sh*t about the LGBTQ+ community, start fights on airplanes and with tons of celebs on social media, and if she didn't act like her sh*t doesn't stink, I wouldn't be compelled to voice my opinion. But I just cannot support someone who does those things and shows no compassion for others.

It's a cycle though, she apologizes and then has some other rant and then apologizes again. Mostly, I think, because there are still, shockingly, people from the LGBTQ+ community that still support her music. So the apologies seem more like efforts to save face so her fan base doesn't peace out. 

I LOVED 212 and even Big Big Beat, a few other tracks. But I cannot get past this vibe I get from her and how she's voiced her views. 

It's similar to the ick factor of J.K. Rowling now, even though I was a HP superfan when I was a kid. 

[It's interesting to think about though, if this were the 60s/70s/80s and there were no social media and we didn't get to hear celebs' political views. For example, what if Prince was a misogynist, racist, homophobe who supported Trump?]
