Post Malone co-manager Dre London took a dig at the artist’s label, Republic Records, and parent company Universal Music Group (UMG) for holding up an already-completed album.

Responding to fans’ persistent messages via social media inquiring as to when Post Malone’s fourth studio album will drop, London posted on Instagram: “Album has been done!! We Ready!! But seems @republicrecords @universalmusicgroup isn’t🤷🏽‍♂️ Posty fans no more need to press me anymore we did our part!! Now it’s time for the label to get the business right before we drop BIG Album! Hit them up!”

This reminds me of the drama when Fiona Apple’s album got shelved and her fans were upset and started protesting in front of her record label’s headquarters :toofunny:

Are they waiting for a hit first before releasing the whole album?

I mean he’s had so many hits at this point in his career he should be focusing on his album as a body of work, don’t think he really needs a hit he’s a streaming artist could be just the label waiting for the right time to drop the album.
