Teletubby 150,180
Leonardo DiCaprio, 47, has been accused of being an eco-hypocrite as he holidays on environmentally unfriendly superyacht. He is a celebrity UN climate change ambassador, and has openly called the issue of climate change to be ‘the most urgent threat facing our entire species’. He's urged his fans to take action to combat climate change, with his recent role on Netflix hit Don't Look Up bringing more attention to the cause. Despite his stance on this, he's been spending his time with his 24-year-old girlfriend Camila Morrone on the 315ft, £110 million Vava II superyacht - which produces as much carbon from sailing seven miles as the average car produces in a year. The Daily Mail reports that shop tracking websites have revealed the yacht to be mostly stationary, with it not travelling further than a mile a day. It is estimated that the superyacht produces 238kg of carbon dioxide per mile. source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

nATAH 49,916
a rich person not caring about the environment whilst we all get scolded for using plastic straws? mother, what must i do?
MadreMonster 2,584
Are we shocked? Its really the majority of us though…My ex would always complain when I would get plastic bags at the grocery store but then I would ask him why he wouldn’t stop eating meat (as meat production negatively impacts the environment). But, in the end, the only way to fix the problem is at a macro level. Governments need to step in and change the community.
gothicdream 39,590
I would love to know how much carbon millionaires / billionaires produce each year compared to the rest of the world I feel like it's astronomically disproportionate
RichAssPiss 4,932
Psssss....all millionaires who claim to care about social issues are hypocrites because they have a disproportionate and unnecessary amount of wealth and if they really cared about labor and poverty and environment they would never have accumulated such wealth or would have divested it by now. You can't be a wealthy revolutionary. You're the bourgeoisie
