The way that movie was filmed really gave me such inspiration emotionally and creatively (i used to be a photographer back in the day). Plus it was entertaining. I mean, vampires & werewolves in this type of scenario that i had never witnessed before. It was exciting. Plus it was high school days, which for me weren't amazing as far as like actual high school & what not, like it was actually really traumatic, but it was a very important time for me because i was discovering my love for photography at the time, obsessing with myspace and aim/ msn, discovering music for the first time and realizing how passionate i am about music. Kinda went off topic a bit, but it does play into why the first film had an impact on me in this weird way. Spoiler NM and BD pt. 2 are my other faves. Especially BD pt. 2. Like, i was legit shook & totally obsessed with the experience of Bella becoming a vampire, seeing all of the vampire powers. Plus that ending??! Like it was really well done imo. Also, the entire series has incredible soundtracks. I watched Breaking Dawn 1 just to know what was gonna happen but that scene with Jacob and the wolves talking was CRINGE AF I didn’t even bother with the last one. The vampires seem to be made of ceramic, and they also shine in the sun. No wonder why Stephen King said Stephenie Meyer is a bad writer, nothing like JK Rowling.
