Was she not part of it? I noticed her parts said “Filmed in 2019”

Really enjoyed this! I was one of those kids dressed up at midnight lining up outside the book shop and staying up til the morning reading it. The books and films are a massive part of my life so seeing this was so good! :bradley:

Going to watch this tomorrow. Hope it reignites my love for HP that has dwindled in past few years due to JKR

It was gorgeous, I got a little emotional watching it tbh. :bradley: My only critique is I wish they spent more time talking about Prisoner of Azkaban since it’s my fave, but it’s all good hehe.

I hope it reignites your love of the Wizarding World too!

Harry Potter saved my life as a bullied, closeted kid. It was the one thing that brought me joy and community through the worst years of my life, and I have so many amazing memories wrapped around those books and films.

I will not let Rowling's sh*tty opinions ruin that for me... and I won't let obsessed, angry social justice warriors pressure me into hating it either  I am a loud supporter of trans rights and make action where it counts in voting, community work and advocacy. In my opinion, forcing yourself to hate something because of what the internet thinks about its creator is pointless torture.

If JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, or any other beloved authors were still alive and on twitter like Rowling is I'm certain there'd be plenty more cancelled franchises :huntyga:

I'm glad the books and movies helped you:heart:  but they never said that trans people forced them to dislike Harry Potter:triggered:. They just said that it was because of JKR hateful opinions, thats it. Harry Potter fans need to calm down a little bit sometimes :selena:

and btw I'm not an ''angry social justice warrior'' that kinda feels like an insult to trans people who criticize transphobia:crossed:. we're not crazy, we just don't like transphobia...

anyway... gonna watch the special this week
