Katy is one of the most ageless celebrities of our generation - especially when she has black hair. I think it's down to a lack of cosmetic work to be honest. She never looks blown up or inflated.

I do agree with you a lot, but I also think she's ageless because she refusee to. Now, it might be that she just likes this Prism style, or maybe people just criticize her every time she does something different.

 

I don't know what Katy thinks about this or what her intention is, but it feels like her career is just a time capsule for all of us to look back on what was and what those old years would say to us now. I don't know if that's a "poetic" way of saying that she stays in one spot with her music. I often find her music nice and the sort, but it disappoints me how people immediately criticize her looks and how "because she's blonde she's hardly charting" or "black hair lands you top 10 on bb100". I hope she isn't hurt by it, and I wish she would do more, but maybe she really is comfortable with this.
