Average attendance per night: 4930

Total attendance across 9 nights: 44,371/44,371 (sold out every night)

This is incredibly good. I thought that the pandemic would affect the commercial performance of the show but she's doing arena numbers in a JAZZ theater show. The Joanne World Tour had nights where she earned a similar amount ($1.3-$1.5 million) while performing for 15k people.

Enigma + Jazz & Piano total gross now at $66.9 million from 48 shows.

People paid ~295$ for their tickets in average. That's crazy. :vegas:

True, but I was just thinking, though, that part of it is how scammy TIcketmaster is....like how Adele tickets were reasonably priced but then the dynamic prices/resell/etc. made it so 90% of people ended up dropping like $400 bucks for not so great seats. One of these days the government will finally crack down on them and regulate Ticketmaster, but until then...

*I got lucky...I paid around $200 and had an excellent seat when I went to J & P. I have a good friend who lives in Vegas, too, and apparently day of people can go to the box office in person and occasionally (rarely, as it's usually sold out) score tickets for under 100 bucks.

Vegas is the future of touring lol everyone is running to bag a residency. Gaga has one of the most high profile ones, she’s not leaving anytime soon.

I honestly have no idea. It doesn't seem like that many, but could be. It's a lot smaller than like a coliseum type venue.

According to the website, the theatre's total capacity is 5,200.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Well, Gaga has an OPTION to extend her (2-year) contract for another year... 36 shows x 3 = 108 shows. 🙂

She loves jazz... and her Jazz & Piano show is doing so well!

Did you know Gaga had a PSYCHOTIC BREAK in July 2017? Touring was hard on her. JWT was cancelled.

She wanted to get off the road. A Vegas residency allows her to perform for fans without having to travel!

No, she's not "chained" to Vegas. Yes, she can tour ANYWHERE but not "within 100 miles" of Las Vegas. (This also applies to Adele and Katy.) The 6-date Chromatica Ball was originally scheduled for summer 2020.

She can tour as much as her health allows, but my guess is she won't be doing a 50-date world tour anytime soon, if ever. She learned her lesson.

So... Vegas may be a "nightmare" for you, but some of her FANS get to see her, and others (not you) can look forward to new fan videos every few months!

It's not just Gaga. Katy said a residency is the "perfect thing" for her right now because it allows her to perform for fans while still spending time with her child.

As for Adele, she told her fans she's "a real homebody" and touring doesn't suit her particularly well. It's her life... She's not a Plastic Doll.

That’s so unfortunate, because it’s SO expensive. Really favors a different kind of clientele and I find it kind of sad.

I would be fine if they chose to do residencies around different continents. Like, european fans would find it easier going to maybe London/Paris for a show than to Vegas.

I think a Madame X type tour is the way to go for Gaga, but even more spread out in time and higher capacities so there’s less shows needed
