They just last week bumped this up from January and now it's a bloodbath trying to book a shot. No idea when I'll actually be able to get my husband and I appointments Exactly, this was the same issue when I wanted to get the first vaccination in NL. The minister of health announced that anyone born in a specific year could book their vaccination and as I’m 23, a lot of young students around my age tried to book an appointment and the website was offline because so much people tried to book an appointment. It’s ridiculous. majkl > kitsch

I can tolerate wearing a mask, as much as I hate it, but I would go insane if bars shut down again. I live in New Jersey, but I can’t say the United States overall had a true lockdown. Yes, places were closed. But, we were able to order items online and have curbside pickup. We were able to pick up food for takeout from restaurants. We were able to go grocery shopping at our leisure. I don’t know what lockdown you’re talking about . Greece was one of the countries who had a true lockdown. My friends and family couldn’t leave the home without even texting the government officials to justify going outside even to walk their dog.

You might be capable of getting your money back, or talk with the airline and see if you could change the flight dates, but to be honest, don’t expect that in January, lockdown fill be lifted. From all the lockdowns we had in the past, it was announced for a month and passed on for several months. I mean, I was supposed to go to family in Netherlands for Christmas, but I had a suspicion that this would happen majkl > kitsch
