For me the bigger issue is the lack of music videos. The fact we’ve only had 3 music videos in the past 5 years is .

That and I think in general we only had one pop (barely) era since ARTPOP. Also streaming dictates video length now. 911 really is a step in the right direction.

Comparing SL to Bad Romance or Alejandro?...or even TEOG? Like even a simple video like that is imo better than Rain on Me which feels kinda soulless green screen and super interchangeable to basically any pop star.
