Kanye West has said that he is converting all of his houses into churches.

During a lengthy interview with culture magazine 032c, the ‘DONDA’ rapper spoke of how society needs to progress. “We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us,” he said. “It’s time to change that.”

“I’m going to be homeless in a year. I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches. We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go."
“It should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available.”

Ye also touched upon an upcoming planned performance piece called ‘The Funeral Rehearsal Of Kanye West’ and admitted that he’s got a “drop of corniness” to himself.

Ill never be able to understand why he thinks building churches is gonna "save the world" from capitilism somehow  but if he does convert them into orphanages as he says then i cant really say much sounds like a decent idea if he can actually afford to maintain them.

Cults and religions will sprout and spread like a cancer as long as there are people in the world who wish to manipulate others through fear of death and hate for others not like them.

This is beautiful. If it helps people, go for it. Religion is a disease whenever it is not used properly. The way religion is today, at least christianity, is not how it used to be. The bible is manipulated, misinterpreted and poorly translated today and it’s very sad, because the actual message is very beautiful and powerful. Maybe all the billions he’s made are also going towards helping people? How do you guys know he’s not actually very smart and taking from the ones that have to give to the ones that don’t. Not everybody has to show their donations and charity, it only makes it about them, becoming a marketing scheme and way of praising the celebrity for the good deed and not actually the cause. It’s exploitative and most celebrities do it like that. If you donate, its between you and the cause.
