From her instagram bio: "If it feels oppressive kick against it" the 'i' are just to number them (and she substituted the iv and v for iiii and iiiii) because they all belong to the same conceptual series Soft, soothing, and succulent

It seems like a stylistic choice. But I see she has titles like @@@@@@

elijahfan 26,305
My favorite kicks literally keep changing all the time, these records have incredible replay value. I thought I wouldn't listen to iiii much, and now it low-key became one of my faves. Now that I've spent some time with the music, I'd say my favorites are definitely ii and iiii. iii is growing on me tho. As for iiiii, I think I need to spend some more time with it, but since it's making me sad I'm pretty certain this isn't the one I'll enjoy revisiting most. But low-key watch me change my mind in a couple days...
stvn 618
I like Arca, and in a perfect world, I would listen to full albums. My lifestyle doesn't always support that, though, so does anyone have suggestions for particular tracks I should check out? (I know, I know, artists intend it to be a full thing, I get it, I'll listen in full when I can, just asking what to listen to first while I'm busy!) Slightly unrelated, but neither are photoshoots, they are 3D renders. Gaga wasn't actually photographed lol

"another user". Rude. I have a name. Gaga didn't invent planets either and yet this year we got Planet Her and Montero, when it wasn't necessarily very common to have planet-themed albums in 2020 or 2019, all of a sudden in 2021 that was the new trend. For your information, Arca was on DOC, which means they know what Gaga is up to to an extent, at least enough to have seen her Paper shoot and been inspired to collab with the artist/photographer from that same shoot. Just because you want to deny the existence of trends doesn't mean they don't exist, another user.
