I wasnt doubting u tho i wanted to understand how tho. The article still doesnt exactly detail that Like the plasma treatments increased mutation frequency as the virus adapted to antibodies ok... but arent they the same antibodies of the original donor? Why did those same antibodies not cause that effect on the original owner. Also immuno compromised have a lower white blood cell count right? Even if an immunocompromised person had triple the total viral volume from start to finish lets say cuz it was allowed to multiply longer before being killed... That would still make up a small fraction of overall global viral load given those individuals are a small fraction of population If it was just purely a mathematical probability thing where the chances of a mutation occuring are higher among higher or longer lasting load cuz theres more replications... it wouldnt explain what the article said as the total number of replications would still be higher in the general population in total number Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
