The other day a former local school teacher was in our store and he was saying how "viruses don't skip species this fast unless it was manufactured!" :air::air::air:

Was it the sports teacher?

Edit: I didn't know it had already been found in great apes and felines previously! Hopefully it doesn't transmit from animals to humans

I hope not :messga:

That’s literally how the pandemic started.

Hmmm... I personally believe it comes from a lab :bon: If it really comes directly from bats, which people from the last centuries (or even thousands of years) have been in contact with, why does it happen now? It's nothing new that humans eat bats... it has been done for thousands of years, so this virus could've also emerged thousands or hundreds of years ago. So why now? I just don't buy that. I still believe it's from a lab and it may have been an accident. (or not) lol

(and I'm nobody that believes in any kind of conspiracy theory except for this. I just think it was made.

It does happen though. That's how bird flu and ebola and HIV started. They can just randomly pop up, and transfer from animals to humans :smh:  that's why we have to be really careful about storing and cooking meat properly! To prevent this kind of thing from happening

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Bat Viruses spreading to humans is not a new phenomenon. Both MERS and SARS came from Bats. Coronaviruses such as these and Covid-19 are commonly found in bats.

Its always happened? This aint the first time in modern history u know and as for the far past many viruses no one would even know was a virus as theyd have no way to figure out what a specific illness was so many of these virus transfers wouldnt have been transfered

But not in that scale & not in the last 100 years. The last big pandemic was the spanish flu. (1918)

Yep I know. I still believe it came from a lab. Maybe some day we'll find out. Or not. Who knows...

if the WHO are even spending money to investigate then that idea is not so far fetched.

edit: and I'm not saying I know this, I'm just saying I personally believe it.

They're actually studying the origins of Omicron and whether or not it mutated in an immunocompromised human or in an animal then crossed back to a human.

Fun stuff :vegas:

Truly the super virus to end all viruses :vegas:

Get your shots, folks :vegas:

Came from a lab as in manufactured in a lab? Or just studied in a lab before an accidental outbreak? I can believe the latter but the former is some crazy NWO conspiracy theory stuff imo :laughga:

The most probable cause likely the true one. We know bats (and a few other animals with weird immune systems) can harbor all kinds of bugs before spreading them.

Well for starters there is a lot more global movement than every before. Travel just before pandemic was at an all time high as tourism had been on a huge boom run for years

Secondly it also depends how contageous the virus is too. Sars for example which was also transmited from bats if im not mistaken (someome correct me if im wrong) was deadlier than this corona virus but it was not as contageous making it easier to contain an outbreak

Covid 19 is as contageous as the most transmissible flus but harsh enough to be a serious health risk to a significant enough portion of the population to be a big issue

Most viruses are not both super contageous or deadly at the same time which is why most viruses dont become global pandemics

This is what I meant. (It's just what I believe - doesn't mean anything though ;) )
