Germany announces lockdown for the unvaccinated

I wished our government would be so brave as Angela in this. They don't want to punish unvaccinated people because they are so afraid of them :flop: most of the politicians are now fueling antivaxers because they see potential voters in them.

I'm not having fun tonight.

The Idea is good, but how often have the 2G Rules failed for Clubs, Restaurants etc. There need to be better controls (outside of the business owners) so they check the vaccination passes more.

Please, out of ALL places were 2G is needed, Clubs are the safest places cause they really do check it. I’m partying A LOT and call tell you they always checked very carefully.

Also Restaurants actually didn’t officially need to check 2G

I don't know how it is in the other Länder but here, it's been like this for 2-3 weeks I think. At least you can't go to restaurants etc, or even sport clubs with just a test. Or maybe this is something that goes beyond going to these places? Like meeting outside with several people?

Also apparently they want to force people to get vaccinated, I hope it will actually happen so we can get out of this, finally.

Yeah, I’m working in retail in Ba-Wü and since last week we’ve been checking everyone that comes in, because of the 2G Rule. I’ve also booked tickets for HoG tomorrow and I’ll have to get tested before going (2G Plus).

RIP SOPHIE 🤍

I can’t support this. I wish everyone got vaccinated, but this is just against human rights. You could come up with a lot of arguments showing its benefits, but it’s still wrong and unconstitutional in many countries.

This could be the beginning of a slippery slope. Who can guarantee a government in the near future could show this as precedent, and decide to segregate and disregard human rights of a minority for the “greater good of public”?

I know people are sick of anti-vaxxers, but having no discussion about the future implications of this dangerous.

Yes, we've moved to 2G+ since yesterday here as well!

I’m curious - are they considering natural immunity from previous infection or are those individuals also banned from public life?

She did, but until the new government is in place, she still is in control :lana:.

They wouldn’t be bitching up like they do if smallpox came back :koons:

I read in the news that Merkel and the new chancellor are thinking about introducing compulsory vaccination, similar to Austria.

Restaurants need to check 3G tho and they usually just don’t look or care, similar with Clubs. I was out a while back and only one bar actually scanned the QR Code. I am 1000% pro 2G and Vaccination, I just want there to be more check ups.

Good. You have the choice to be dangerous and we have the choice not to be. Guess which group gets to do nice things.

They are included in those rules and are not banned. They need one vaccination dose 6 months after recovering tho

This is not against human rights. This is not only wrong, it’s dangerous to say that.

Freedom is not limited to yourself. If you are a threat to society, there must be consequences, period. Unvaxxed people are a threat, nothing else. They willingly choose to take the risk to kill people (which in theory is even illegal if you wanna be very picky) and taking important spots in hospitals. A government has to follow the “human right” to protect their citizens, and if thats the price for it, then so be it.

You can live in your own freedom BUT only until it takes away the freedom and safety from others.

This is NOT against human rights
