Justin Bieber has an upcoming concert in Saudi Arabia that's getting a lot of backlash. The Human Rights Foundation has send a letter to Justin Bieber calling on him to cancel a planned appearance at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Dec. 5 as a symbol of solidarity with the ongoing suffering of the Saudi people.

The truck plastered with ads asking Justin to cancel his perfomance was cruising all over DTLA Sunday, right next to the Microsoft Theater where the American Music Awards are going down tonight.

Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has called on Justin Bieber to cancel his upcoming concert in Tel Aviv.
Bieber announced his 2022 world tour dates this week, with a concert in Tel Aviv planned for next October. On Thursday, Hamas’ Artistic Production Department issued a statement, cited by the Palestinian Sawa news outlet, “condemning and denouncing” the performer. It called on the star to cancel the show and “boycott the Zionist occupation state in protest at its repeated crimes against the Palestinian people.”

Good! Both shows should be cancelled for different reasons but still.

Added note: Of course the media would focus on Hamas asking for the Israel concert to be cancelled instead of the humanitarian organizations calling for the cancellation lol...so transparent.

I think there is a big difference between performing for your fans in a country with a bad government (Israel) vs performing for a sadistic leader though invitation (Saudi Arabia).

In Saudi, he is performing for a race function and apparently was invited from the King himself to do it. Not like he would have gone without the invitation. This is way worse than performing for fans in Israel - it's not like the prime minister of Israel invited him to put a show on in Tel Aviv.

Oh he's performing in Israel? AND KSA? As if he needed to be more disgusting than he already is lol

Also "Hamas wants Justin Bieber to ditch Israel gig" has got to be one of the most idiotic headlines I've ever read :bear:

Israel is a state built on colonialization and ethnic cleansing. Literally a few months ago they were heavily bombing and murdering Palestinians (and still are, but the news was much more prominent a few months ago). New settlements are being created all the time in Palestine. It's not just a "bad government", it's a whole instance of colonial genocide and the colonial settlers aka the people are very much part of it. You can't tell me a person casually kicking you out of your house (and I mean that very literally, like walking into your house and kicking you out) and then claiming it as their own is only an issue of a "bad government".

The media is so transparent when it comes to Isr*el. Justin is trash, I am not surprised by his choices nor have I ever been. The push to make Isr*el happen from Hollyweird and the US government is astounding. They are literally dancing on the graves of innocents and bathing in their blood, just pure evil and trash. Anything for money and fame.
