who does this help now? I feel like any interest in this "list" is purely for peoples self interest and hunger for drama.

Tbh I understand publicists advising their clients to not talk about it (and Gaga being the rebellious and morally driven person she is, deciding against that advice), but it was the way Christina did it that bugged me. The way she looked back at her manager to get her out of the situation, and did that snarky, pouty "mmm sorry" reads very 'bitchy teenage girl' to me. Very unprofessional, and very heartless given the weight of Britney's situation. She could have politely declined. Hell, they knew she was going to get asked at some point, they had plenty of time to write and memorise a diplomatic answer! Came across so awful

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

This helps for future interests. We'll know which celebrities have been enabling these things and will definitely enable more unfair things by staying silent (even after being powerful).

I’m pretty sure Britney herself didn’t like these docs either. :bear:

Well if we are being honest, that framing britney doc helped her case a LOT!

before it it was just a fan movement but surely it went mainstream real quick.

Sometimes I wonder about that... they surely brought attention and help her situation. But part of me still wonders what she really felt about it.

they’re not ready for that conversation unfortunately I already see the public perception changed against Brit after that xtina situation which is pathetic

Gaga talked about Britney after the fact though. Gaga was on mute when her voice could have actually mattered, if we're keeping it real. Saying nice things about Britney after the fact is the easy part, hence why Xtina is so dumb - because she could have actually kept it simple and cute with a "I'm happy for her and I wish her the best."

I'm pointing this out because to this day I am side eying Gaga for saying anything during the difficult period, and I wonder if it's because of whatever Bobby has going on with Satan L*u Taylor.

what i found very interesting is that this shines Britney's IG story on ig on a different light.

when she wrote "people knew what happened to me for years" takes a different meaning now.

Anyways what's weird is if they were asked about her legacy, it's a pretty normal joyful fact than the  conservatorship and court stuff so it would be a easy answer.

This is a fair criticism tbh. My assumption was always that Gaga was choosing to show Britney support in private rather than publicly until she was free, but I guess we never know. These situations can get real sticky, but as the public we only know a tiny bit. It's hard to make an opinion either way, but I totally understand where you're coming from!

yeah but how showing support in private helped? yes it probably made Britney helped better for a minute or two but those ones, the girls from the FB movement, Cher, Miley were the ones constantly reminding everyone that Britney was suffering and something should get done ASAP.

This is not against Gaga i just find Britney's judgement strange. Again, she might not know all the facts yet, she have a lot to catch up.

At least she thanked Iggy! She have been talking about it for YEARS.

The only person that can really say what helped her is Britney. Assuming that she reach to her privately, cause we don't know if it's the case. We can't be on Britney head and know for sure what helped her more. Regardless Cher and Miley did great bringing attention to the matter.
