To be honest, I haven't been streaming it. I've been listening to my vinyl record on repeat. I have a feeling there are a LOT of folks just like me out there.

I feel like a lot of people are like that as well, specifically with Adele. She seems like the artist also a lot of older generations would find most appealing, and we all know they aren't streaming. Although I don't really know the demographic of her fanbase.

Lets be real with so many 6 minute songs this is great for the playtime. Imagine if those 6 min songs were 2 min songs.

are you Taylor fan or not?
this statement 'I ain't listening to slow songs' is confusing

I said I MOSTLY listen to fast-paced songs, didn't I?  :excuseu:  I pay dust to slow songs, even if they're Taylor's songs. So I don't understand what it is you don't understand :lana:

Anyway, it's an undeniable fact Adele's selling power this era is weaker than that of the 25 era. The hype about Adele has ALWAYS been WHO she is, not what she releases. She could release a 3-second recording of cough and the GP would still let her get to the top. The GP is showing signs of getting tired of her though, Easy On Me kinda came and went, whereas Hello was an EVENT in 2015.

how is the GP tired of someone they haven’t seen in 6 years?

the only reason why people are comparing bc the other day people were dragging taylor for being “local” and bringing up unwarranted adele comparisons there.

Well that's why mods exist. There's no reason to have every thread derailed by flaimbaits and unnecessary comparisons. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's so annoying how streaming is such a big part in how well an album does these days!

I miss the days when physical copies were the most important.

21/30 songs off Red were rerecorded 9 year old songs though but go off.

And? Her fans listened to those tracks to compare them to the old ones.

If I’m not wrong, physical sales do still count more than streaming.

This album will have longevity for sure... I hope there are 2-3 singles.. Singles are important which can been seen from the fact that Easy on Me did 10million streams alone.

Hello was a Supernova explosion in our faces. She just said “Hello” and the song was already number one in the entire multiverse.
